Accessibility Statement for Celtic Nature Walking Tours
Celtic Nature Walking Tours is committed to ensuring equal access for all visitors. We aim to comply with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA and the requirements of the European Accessibility Act and Irish Equality & Disability legislation.

Following a detailed accessibility review and remediation programme, this website is Fully with WCAG 2.2 AA guidelines.
Non-Accessible Content
The following items may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.2 AA standards:
- PDF or historic documents provided by external partners.
- User-generated or legacy media where transcripts or captions are pending.
- Booking engine (Rezgo) pages, calendars, checkout and gift-card flows.
- Standalone Rezgo domain and any booking/product pages rendered by Rezgo.
- Third-party content embedded via iframes (e.g., Rezgo booking system and Youtube videos), which we cannot modify.
- Cookie banner core UI and injected scripts.
- Social media platforms and embedded social media widgets.
- External map services including Google Maps embeds and external map pages.
- Third-party tourism directories such as Discover Ireland and Dingle-Peninsula.ie.
We are working with suppliers and partners to improve accessibility for all third-party content where possible.
What We Are Doing to Improve Accessibility
Celtic Nature is committed to continuous improvement. Recent accessibility actions include:
- Full accessibility audit across desktop and mobile
- Fixing markup structure, ARIA labels, headings and landmarks
- Improving colour contrast and visual design
- Increasing touch targets for mobile users
- Ensuring images include descriptive alternative text
- Enhancing keyboard access and focus visibility
- Adding accessible names, roles, and values to interactive elements
- Improving link clarity and reducing reliance on visual cues
- Adding an Accessibility Welcome Page
We will continue to monitor updates to WCAG standards, conduct regular audits, and ensure new content meets accessibility requirements.
